A midday rain is a rainfall that occurs during the middle of the day, typically between late morning and early afternoon. It is a common occurrence in tropical regions where the heat of the day can lead to the formation of thunderstorms and precipitation. Midday rains are often brief but intense, providing relief from the heat and humidity of the day. **

Midday lines are imaginary lines on the Earth's surface that mark the path of the sun at its highest point in the sky each day. These lines are also known as meridians, and they indicate the time when the sun is directly overhead at a particular location. The midday line moves from east to west as the Earth rotates, and it helps to determine local solar time and longitude. **

Stomata close at midday to prevent excessive water loss through transpiration. During the hottest part of the day, the plant can lose a significant amount of water through open stomata, which can lead to dehydration and wilting. By closing the stomata, the plant can conserve water and maintain its turgidity, allowing it to survive the heat and dry conditions. Additionally, closing the stomata can also help to regulate the exchange of gases, such as carbon dioxide and oxygen, within the plant. **

The midday nap, also known as a power nap, can be important for some individuals as it can help improve alertness, mood, and cognitive performance. Ultimately, the importance of the midday nap depends on an individual's sleep needs, daily schedule, and overall health. **

The midday sun appears to shift because of the Earth's axial tilt and its orbit around the sun. As the Earth rotates on its axis and revolves around the sun, the angle at which sunlight hits different parts of the Earth changes. This causes the position of the sun in the sky to vary throughout the year, resulting in the midday sun appearing to shift its position. **

TV and radio stations are not legally obligated to broadcast news, but many choose to do so as part of their commitment to serving the public interest. In some countries, there may be regulations or licensing requirements that mandate a certain amount of news programming, but this varies by jurisdiction. Ultimately, the decision to include news in their programming is up to the individual stations and their management. **
