An absinthe high refers to the effects of consuming absinthe, a highly alcoholic spirit that is traditionally made with wormwood and other botanicals. The high is often described as a unique and intense experience, characterized by a feeling of euphoria, heightened creativity, and altered perception. Some people also report experiencing visual and auditory hallucinations, although these effects are likely due to the high alcohol content rather than the presence of wormwood. It's important to note that absinthe has a high alcohol content and should be consumed responsibly. **

No, absinthe does not make you blind. The myth that absinthe causes blindness or hallucinations is a result of misinformation and sensationalism. Absinthe contains a high alcohol content and is also infused with herbs such as wormwood, which contains a compound called thujone. While thujone can be toxic in large doses, the levels found in absinthe are not high enough to cause blindness. Like any alcoholic beverage, excessive consumption of absinthe can lead to negative health effects, but blindness is not one of them. **

Absinthe does not typically cause hallucinations. The idea that absinthe causes hallucinations is a myth that originated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries when the drink was popular among artists and writers. The hallucinogenic properties were believed to come from the wormwood herb used in absinthe production, specifically a compound called thujone. However, modern absinthe is regulated to ensure thujone levels are safe and not hallucinogenic. Drinking absinthe in moderation is not likely to cause hallucinations. **

Yes, there are absinthes available with cinnamon flavor. Some distilleries produce absinthe with added cinnamon to give it a unique and spicy twist. This combination can create a complex and interesting flavor profile that appeals to those who enjoy the taste of cinnamon. It is important to note that traditional absinthe does not typically include cinnamon as an ingredient, but modern variations may incorporate it for a different taste experience. **
